Do you have a Christmas tradition? As a new family of 3, we are always trying to think of fun ways to incorporate the festive spirit into the holiday season. For me, that always starts with décor. Something about joyful Christmas adornments just makes us all want to snuggle up by the warm fire with a hot cup of cocoa. Since Kai’s playroom is one we spend most of our time in, we decided why not start there! Today I’ll be sharing with you 3 tips I learned from transforming Kai’s play room/ great room for the holiday season.

First and foremost, Pier 1 Imports is my go to for holiday decorating!

Secondly, greenery makes all the difference!

You guys know I am a huge fan of greenery in any space! It’s no wonder at Christmas time, I go all out! I love how greenery instantly livens up the space. Whether it’s wreaths, garlands or festive arrangements, Pier 1 Imports has an abundance of vivid greenery! One of the décor elements I always get the most comments about is the wreath arrangement on our wall. This is simply done by hanging holiday wreaths in various sizes in a flowy pattern. All it takes is a couple of nails to make a big impression. Also add greenery in unexpected spaces like on top of the peacock chair or on a teepee post to draw your eyes across the whole room.
