A Kid Friendly Interactive Podcast to Try with Your Family Today

Being at home so much lately, it seems that we have done every activity under the sun to keep our kids entertained. We have started to run out of ideas and try not to resort to a lot of screen time with Kai since she’s only 4.  It seemed like the magic was fading in our house until one day we heard about the Lucky Charms Magical Mission podcast. Kai was smitten right from the start! I was so happy to see a cereal character that I grew up with come to life for Kai in a unique way. It brought back so many memories growing up with the Lucky Charms cereal and reading the back of the box to see what kind of adventure Lucky was up to.

What I love most about this podcast was that it was interactive. It follows Lucky as he tries to restore magic back into the 8 charm lands (hearts, stars, and horseshoes, clovers and blue moons, unicorns, rainbows, and red balloons). This sounded like it was just what we needed to help get the magic back in our household!  As Lucky navigates through his adventures, he comes across lots of fun characters such as the Wise Old Wizard Tree, Sally the Skunk, Tina the Turtle, and of course Kai’s favorite, Ursula the Unicorn! The coolest part was you get to decide the path that Lucky takes and help with his decision making along the way!

This podcast is not only fun and interactive but teaches lifelong lessons to those who are listening. Kai really clung on to the lesson she heard when Lucky visited the Land of Clovers and came across Norman the Gnome. Lucky talks about doing something nice for someone else and how good things happen to those who are kind and thoughtful. Kai has been trying to do something kind for someone else daily. I see such a shift in her thinking after listening to the podcast. Kai already has a big heart and this just made it even bigger!

Lucky Charms Magical Mission restored the magic in our household through using our imagination. We love starting our mornings listening to the podcast and discussing the lessons we have learned from it and how we can incorporate it into our lives. It has made my heart so happy to hear Kai remind us daily of the lessons she has learned. Listening to the podcast first thing in the morning has also made it a calmer way to ease into our day. Kai is much happier when we spend the extra time with her.

The podcast is now available on Amazon Alexa and Google home. Episodes are also available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Kai gets a kick out of saying, “Alexa, open the Lucky Charms Magical Mission”. If you have a Google Home, you can say, “Ok Google, talk to Lucky Charms Magical Mission”.
