How Your Kids Can Fly For Free On Frontier And Ultimate Family Summer Travel Destination Bucket List

Parents! Summer is almost upon us! Remember when you were single and could just pack up, pick a location and fly on whim? I do! Now with a toddler in tow and soon to be family of 4, vacations take a little more planning and budget. What if I told you your kids under 15 could fly for free??? Wouldn’t that be a family travel game changer? The new Frontier Kids Fly Free offering is totally kicking our summer travel into high gear! Today, I’m going to show you exactly how to save on air travel with free kids tickets AND give you the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to LEGOLAND, curtesy of Frontier Airlines, LEGOLAND and Budget. Lastly, if you need ANY inspiration on child friendly summer vacation destinations, I’m sharing our top 3 bucket list locations!

First, let’s get to the juicy details on those free flights. I have never seen an offer like this before that is going to open the doors for affordable family travel. Frontier Airlines is committed to delivering ‘Low Fares Done Right”. With a Discount Den subscription ($59.99 per year), travelers get exclusive low fair rates plus one kid under 15 can fly for free on valid Kids Fly Free flights for every adult Discount Den fare purchased. The fares are available for up to 6 people on the reservation so a family of 4 only need 1 subscription. This discount can be used for an unlimited number of times in a year. I know I will be checking the Frontier website for every flight we plan! Especially for as frequently as we visit Colorado, direct flights out of Houston IAH just became beyond affordable!

To celebrate this incredible Kids Fly Free offer, Frontier is giving one lucky family a 4-night magical trip they’ll always remember in partnership with LEGOLAND and Budget. Winner will receive a 4-night stay in LEGOLAND, roundtrip for 4 to Orlando, 5-day car rental and one Discount Den membership.

I know some of you already showed off your celebration dance moves on Instagram but here is how to enter again! Head to the sweepstakes page here. Get you camera ready. Tell your kids they can now fly for free on Frontier Airlines. Record their best, wiggliest, grandest, craziest dance moves and upload the video for a chance to win!

So, you are ready to make some serious family memories this summer, now where to? Come cross off these bucket list destinations perfect for kiddos with us!

Summer Family Tavel Bucket List for Toddlers

  1. Estes Park Colorado – Summer is a great time to visit the Rocky Mountains. Kevin and I spent a week in Estes Park as an engagement trip in July of 2013 and I’ve been wanting to go back and visit with Kai ever since she was born. It’s just a short road trip away from Denver and serves as a gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. If your kids are into animals/wildlife and outdoors, it’s the perfect hike-able/ drivable trip for all experiences. You can take on many short, flat hikes on the drive through the continental divide. We saw moose, pike and so many native animals, Kai would just looser her mind!

  2. Puerto Rico – To get the tropical vibes, scenery and culture while still speaking English is a huge draw for us for Puerto Rico. With so many pristine beach and rainforest attractions, you can relax and do nothing at all or be as adventurous as you’d like.  Think Kai would especially enjoy seeing the bioluminescent bay and splashing around on white sands.

  3. San Diego – To escape the Houston heat, I think San Diego is at the top of our list for August/ September. With theme parks, aquarium, the zoo and beach all so close to each other, you can easily spend a week. Some of you guys suggested San Diego as the perfect babymoon location and I totally agree!

I cannot even wait to hear all about your summer trips! Hope this is your best one yet! Here is to making family memories!
