May 10 Lillypost Post Board Book Subscription Review with Coupon

Kai’s favorite pastime has always been reading, even when she was a wee little baby. Naturally, when I heard about Lillypost, a monthly book subscription box for children of all ages, I knew we had to give it a try.

How it works is pretty simple. First, you pick between board books (0-2) or picture books (3+). Then you can select the frequency of your subscription (1 month, 3 month, 6 month or 12 month). After that, you are all set. It’s super easy and the anticipation is half the fun.

Each box is a surprise and the theme changes every month. There are typically 4-5 individually gift wrapped books in each box. After I ordered the April box, I couldn’t wait to receive it! When it arrived on my door step, we immediately started unwrapping. Each book was wrapped in high quality, visually stimulating gift paper. There was a fun note along with super cute fox stickers as a bonus. Kai’s eyes got so big and she totally squealed with excitement. She is working on her gasping expression now and I think she certainly will gasp when she sees the May box.

Here is a list of all the books that were included. Anyone who knows me knows I love getting a great deal. The total retail value was $10+ more than the cost of the 1 month book subscription. It’s really a great bang for your buck. Plus, the notion of the surprise made it that much for special. I’m all about that!

Kai quickly attached to one of the books: My First Colors: Jungle. This isn’t a big surprise as you guys know, she loves anything with animals in it. I enjoy the bright colors and fun illustrations. We read each book probably at least 5 times that day.

I think these will make a great birthday / shower gift too! I love gifting books as a present. We spend so much quality family time curled up in our reading nook. Gifting those experiences to friends and family is super enjoyable for me.
