Day Trip Made Easy with Regalo Baby
They say, when the baby starts crawling and walking, it is a total game changer. Boy were they right! I completely underestimated the amount of energy it takes to keep up with Kai. Now she is 18 months old and just in to everything in the house. Whenever we go the park or on a picnic, sitting down is a luxury. One of us must be constantly chasing after her all the time! The struggle is so real mamas! We have been talking about the timeline to try for another baby. Right now, the thought of having a newborn or crawling baby AND a wild runner gives me a lot of anxiety. When I discovered Regalo Babyβs line of safety and everyday use products, I thought they would be perfect to help me solve some of these mobility challenges.
Regalo is a family owned company out of Minnesota with JPMA certified safety products. They carry everything from baby gates to sleeping cots. I got the Regalo Six Panel My Play Portable Play Yard and Portable Activity Chair and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to test everything out with a riverside picnic!
So, we packed up the gang, including Olie and head out with our new gear. Carrying and loading both the play yard and activity chair was a breeze. They each came with a nifty carrying bag including straps. Kevin was able to hull everything into and out of the car in one load while I wrangled the babies. The lightweight designs were easy on his back, which I am sure he appreciated.
We arrived as our scenic spot and proceed to set up a cozy area for Kai. Since the ground was uneven and she could easily run off the ledge, I was so glad to have the play yard handy to keep her happily contained. Set up of the play yard literally took 1 minute. There is no assembly required; Kevin simply folded out the steel frame and locked it into place and voila, all done! Since it was a hot day, I really appreciated the mesh ventilated sides to keep Kai cool.
We also set out Kaiβs activity chair which I decorate with some fun flowers. She felt like such a big girl to have her own seat. She also loved having a cup holder handy! That girl cannot live without her sippy cup. I even set up the chair in the water for her so she can have a place to sit and cool off.
All in all, it was a very successful day, thanks to Regalo Baby! I see so many uses for the play yard and activity chair, both outdoors and in the house! I only wish I had known about them earlier, when Kai was just a crawler. I cannot wait to take the play yard and activity chair on Kaiβs first camping trip in the spring!
