4 Easy Steps to Create Valentine’s Brunch at Home with DIY Balloon Photo Backdrop
Thank you Walmart and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post!
Do you feel like in a total slump after all the Christmas and holiday décor has been put away? ME TOO! That’s why I can’t wait to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the family! After having kids, I look forward to each holiday even more and making the celebration extra special for them. This doesn’t mean you have to make something elaborate or break the bank! Today, I am sharing 4 easy steps to create a Valentine’s brunch at home with a DIY balloon backdrop that took less than 30 minutes!
Step 1: Let Walmart+ do the shopping for you!
Want to recreate this but no supplies on hand? No worries, Walmart + to the rescue! I can say that my Walmart + membership has been such a lifesaver! When you sign up for a Walmart + membership (only $12.95/month or $98/year), one of the many benefits you receive is that you can get free next-day & two-day shipping on items from Walmart.com—no order minimum required! My latest order for our Valentine’s brunch at home included some balloons and crepe streamers, all under $1 each, to help me create a fun backdrop. I was able to order and it was delivered the same day for our festivities!
Here is the list you will need:
Streamers

Whipped cream
Strawberries

Step 2: Set the table!
We used a pink table cloth and set out some faux flowers from around the house. I added the heart plates and heart mugs to complete the set up. Don’t forget to add an element of FUN! We ordered these heart shaped glasses for a 4 pack under $1!
Step 3: Make the balloon backdrop
I took three different color crepe streamers and tied them to the balloon strings. It is such an easy DIY that makes such an impact! For an extra over the top look, cut up the gold and silver fringe curtains and tie it to the tail of the balloons as well!
Step 4: Heart pancakes in a flash!
As for brunch, I placed an order for some pancakes, strawberries, and whipped cream. The pancakes were microwaved in under a minute (shh.. They will never know!). Just use a heart shaped cookie cutter to slice out the pancakes and then top with your desired topping!. Bo was in love with the whipped cream! Who can blame him?
It is the little things that make each celebration special! The brunch would not have been possible without my Walmart + membership! I never had to leave my house and load up 2 wild kiddos to get all I needed for this valentines day special celebration. We have used our membership at least 1 time a week.
