Christmas is our family’s favorite time of the year and probably yours too! The festive feeling, the joyful gatherings, all with so much cheer and kindness in the air. It’s the perfect time to talk to your kids and toddlers about the spirit of the holiday season. After all, it feels so much better to give than receive! I really believe it’s important to start these conversations in a way that our kids can understand and get involved at a young age. Seeing how Kai gets it at 3 and a half and want to do for others just makes my heart want to explode. We play Santa every year for a family in need but this year, I also want to turn your attention to an amazing cause with Stage and St Jude. This holiday season, Stage and Gordmans will be partnering with St. Jude to raise money to fight childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. Since St Jude opened its doors over 50 years ago, it’s helped push childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food so they can focus on surviving. Since 2013, Stage has raised 5.9 million for St. Jude and have set a goal to raise a million dollars this year!

Instagram: From November 1-December 31, Stage and Gordmans will donate $1 to St. Jude for each Instagram feed post with #BearsThatCare hashtag. Just simply add the tag to your next post and you will be helping make a contribution!
Teddy Bears: This was Kai’s favorite way to get involved! Stage will be selling a teddy bear - Miguel, named after a St Jude patient. For every purchase, $2 will be donated to St Jude. The bears as so cuddly and soft, we thought it would be amazing to take it one step further and donate the purchased bears as a family to a local toy drive!
