3 Ways to Create a Timeless Entryway and Hallway Bath

When we bought the home, I wanted to incorporate modern details with a timeless classic look without breaking the budget. Today I am so excited to partner with The Home Depot on bringing the vision to life.! Spoiler alert! We’re mixing high and low pieces and lots of designer dupes so that we can pull off this look without breaking the bank!

The entryway is the first space our guests see when they first walk in so these are some ways to create a welcoming and good first impression.

  1. Start with a classic timeless table - . When choosing the base layer for the entry way, I tend to opt for classic silhouettes like traditional curved legs. A circular table makes a space more inviting and provides the groundwork for all of our decorate features. When I saw the Black Pedestal Table, I knew it would be the perfect fit.

  2. Add some personality - This is the fun part! You can add poufs, blankets, and sculptural pieces that speak to you. I added this Accent Pouf Ottoman and I love how the stripes are so traditional and mixes in with the design. How beautiful are these Mother of Pearl Coastal Decorative Boxes? They add just the right amount of elegance to the space.

  3. Mirrors are a must! - The Home Depot has so many amazing antique inspired dupes similar to some designer looks without breaking the break. This Arched Vintage Style Gold Frame Mirror is a fraction of the cost of the designer one and just as beautiful!

The next area that I wanted to update was the hallway bathroom.

  1. Make the space flow - Since this space is right off the staircase, I wanted a cohesive look, so I tied in the Instafamous viral Home Decorators Mirror in here as well.

  2. Don’t be afraid to mix and match metal. - Growing up we were taught not to mix metals if we wanted a cohesive look. But I am here to prove them wrong! I love an antique brass mixed with bronze for our lighting and faucets.

  3. Light fixtures are everything! - The Home Depot is our go to for sourcing unique lights from major brands and chromatic sconces and ceiling lights add the perfect touches of glam and really lets the marble arch shine through.
