At Home Halloween Party - Matching Family Costumes & Halloween PJs
2020 had so much potential to be a great year of holiday celebrations falling on the weekends. Valentineβs Day was on a Friday so that meant the extra-long weekend to celebrate with our loved ones. 4th of July was on a Saturday so we could have stayed up late BBQing into the wee hours of the night with family and friends. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year and had the potential to be epic with late night festivities for the kids! But alas, this year has proven to be much different than what we anticipated. Even with having to be socially distant, we are still celebrating but coming up with creative ways to make it still fun!
For us, we are deciding to stay home and have a Disney movie marathon while dressed up as our favorite Disney characters. This year, we let Kai decide our family costume. It was so fun to see what she came up with! She was obsessed with Toy Story 4 so it was no surprise that she chose that theme for our costumes! We were able to get our costumes from shopDisney since they have costumes available for the whole family! Dad got to be Woody, Bo will be Buzz Lightyear, Kai picked out Gabby Gabby for me, and she will be Bo Peep. Kai could not forget about our furry buddy, Olie! shopDisney has the cutest Woody costume for Olie that Kai picked out for him. Right now, on shopDisney, costumes are 40% off! After we enjoy watching the movie, I plan to have a scavenger hunt set up for Kai to find some candy! It is going to be so cute watching Kai as Bo Peep searching for her lost candy!
FAMILY COSTUME IDEAS!
As it gets later into the day, I will change everyone into some matching Mickey ghost pajamas. I love holiday pajamas and Halloween is no exception! These Mickey ghost pajamas from shopDisney were too cute to pass up! I also had to grab this adorable Mickey mug to keep with the theme and fill it up with hot chocolate to finish out our Disney movie marathon as a family.
MATCHING PJS
