Bathroom Renovations

Can you believe we are 8 months into our home renovation? The light is near the end of the tunnel! One of the fastest one-room makeovers we had done was the Jack and Jill bathroom that the kids will be sharing. I knew I wanted to update the tiles since they were so damaged, and I wanted to refresh the space to match the rest of the house. 

Once I laid eyes on the Marazzi EpicClean Antimicrobial Tile, I knew it was exactly what the space needed! The Marazzi tile is perfect in the bathroom since it has over 99% antimicrobial protection which help fight off stain and odor causing bacteria around the clock. Knowing that this was the kids’ bathroom, we wanted a tile that was durable, waterproof, and scratch resistant.  This tile checked off all the marks! We wanted to open up the shower by removing the door and creating a beautiful arch which is one of the first things you see when you walk into the bathroom. Turning the tiles and doing a vertical stack in the shower draws the eyes up, which helps make the bathroom feel more spacious. I also love that there is nothing blocking your view of these beautiful tiles!

It was a no brainer that we wanted to use the tiles for the floors as well. The big herringbone pattern and colors bring a slight modern feel to a few traditional elements in the bathroom.

Overall, I am beyond thrilled with the renovation of the bathroom. I may find myself sneaking in the kid’s bathroom occasionally! It seriously is so dreamy, and we cannot wait to move in soon!
